CoolSpeak is a youth engagement company that provides students, parents, and educators with training that has tangible benefits, working within small groups to speak to the team’s strengths. They provide motivational speakers from diverse backgrounds, tailor educational programs & camps, facilitate impactful events & tours, and share resources that prepare middle and high school students to be strong leaders in their community and prepare for college and the workforce.

The College and Career Readiness Evaluation Consortium (CCREC) is a collaboration of 28 GEAR UP grantees and national not-for-profit organizations collectively serving over 110,000 students in more than 630 middle and high schools. Through a longitudinal research and evaluation project, CCREC seeks to examine the relationship between GEAR UP interventions and key secondary and postsecondary outcomes.

FOCUS Training delivers programming for students, families , and staff members in the form of camps, retreats, bus tours, and professional development. They have worked with GEAR UP students across the United States for 15 years to improve college access at the grant and school levels.

Littleglobe’s artistic talents have contributed to telling the story of GEAR UP New Mexico. Through our partnership, Littleglobe has produced videos on GEAR UP New Mexico’s inaugural Pathways to Success Conference and Girls in STEM conference, with several more in the works going into the next fiscal year.

MidSchoolMath (MSM) provides hands-on professional development to support middle school math intervention teachers to support students to succeed in mathematics. The curriculum blends immersive story and state-of-the-art software to create new levels of student engagement and learning, transforming math classes grades 7 and 8 with teaching principles that have a high impact.

Obtain Creative has been working with GEAR UP New Mexico since 2022. Ashley Steele and her team work to create colorful and eye-catching content for the GEAR UP New Mexico social media accounts. Since beginning our partnership, our Instagram and Twitter pages have grown exponentially and engagement has also dramatically increased. Obtain Creative also designed and developed the GUNM website.

Beginning in December 2022, Student Success Agency offers GUNM students their own agent to provide afterschool and weekend support services such as tutoring, postsecondary advising, and mental health coaching conveniently from students’ electronic devices. This suite of services aligned with GUNM’s district’s initiative to produce an individualized student success plan for every student that shows contextualized student-level data and outcomes around academic, career, and social-emotional development.

For more than 30 years, TI has been an active member of classrooms around the world, empowering teachers and inspiring students to succeed in mathematics and science. Through calculators, coaching and classroom resources, TI Education Technology is transforming the way teachers teach and students learn STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects. ​

With their award-winning products, engaging lessons, real-time assessment and top-notch professional development, TI is leading the way in mathematics and science education.​

True Kids 1 has partnered with GEAR UP New Mexico to provide workshops on media production for literacy integrated into the already existing classroom curriculum. During the 2022-2023 school year, the organization provided more than 1,600 hours of media instruction to 180 Taos High School students.

Xcalibur aims to foster understanding using data among educational professionals to empower students in becoming college and career ready. For 23 years, Xcalibur has partnered with GEAR UP grantees, focusing on grantees’ unique needs. Currently, the evaluation team at Xcalibur supports thirteen partnership GEAR UP grants and six state GEAR UP grants with robust evaluation services centered on building evaluative thinking and data literacy. Xcalibur is headquartered in Virginia, but their team is dispersed across several states including the Land of Enchantment.

STEM Santa Fe provides many programs providing enriching STEM learning experiences and mentorships for students in 5th-12th grade in Northern New Mexico. They offer engaging project-based programming with real-world context. STEM Santa Fe deploys a network of STEM professionals who volunteer to serve as mentors and role models.​ STEM Santa Fe collaborates with school districts, higher education institutions and other organizations to reach out to low-income families and to increase diversity and promote equity in STEM by offering our programs at low to no cost to families.​
